Such a great fall cake. Fancy-pants among us might drizzle carmel sauce decoratively over the top. Rum infused whipped cream works well too.
Ingredients:
2c sugar
2c flour
1c chopped walnuts
4c chopped, unpeeled apples
2tsp cinnamon
1tsp salt
2tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1/2c vegetable oil
2tsp vanilla
Mix eggs, oil and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Batter will be very, very stiff. Kitchen Aid mixers work well for this.
Spread in 9x13 inch pan.
Bake 1 hour at 350'
